Winners of GameMakers 8.0!

What a way to kick off 2026! Technically, it's already been four months, but as far as we're concerned, the year is just getting started.

This Friday, March 27th, we took part in the eighth edition of GameMakers, showcasing Duellum, our roguelike medieval jousting game.

The build we showed is the same one we presented at ZGDevs. Over the past six months we've made a ton of progress on the project, but we weren't able to put together a new demo in time. To make up for it, for all of you who haven't been able to get your hands on the latest version of Duellum, here's a sneak peek at some of our recent progress:

  • We're working really hard on adding a multiplayer mode (both local and online) so you can duke it out with your friends.

  • We have over 100 different equipment options planned so you can build absolutely broken synergies and break the game (in the best way possible).

  • Visual and audio feedback is being actively refined to make fights 100% clear and easy to follow.

Stay tuned! We've got a lot cooking behind the scenes. By mid-April, we expect to have everything ready to launch our Steam page, and from that point on, a new demo will be right around the corner, we'll keep you updated!

We're absolutely thrilled to have won the award. It completely caught us off guard and was a very welcome surprise. With this new award under our belt, the team's morale and motivation have skyrocketed, the sky's the limit!

All that's left is to say thank you:

  • To the organizers for putting GameMakers together, Zaragoza needs more events like this, keep it up!

  • To the judges for valuing our hard work so highly.

  • To all the attendees who took a bit of your time to try out the games — it truly means a lot 🧡

See you at the next event!
